  ORGANIC WASTE MANAGEMENT

Full Circle operates a composting centre at Malleswaram Market where the waste from the vegetable and fruit market is composted. Organic waste from the temples, fruit and juice centres nearby is also brought to the unit for composting. About 5 tons of compost is produced every month. This unit is being run in partnership with the BBMP and Vennar Organic Fertiliser Pvt.Ltd. The BBMP saves about 15 tons of waste a month from going to the landfill, adding up to cost savings of about Rs.30,000 every month in transport costs.

  DRY WASTE MANAGEMENT

The spaces and infrastructure have been provided by the BBMP. Named "Kartavya - Our Waste, Our Responsibiity",these centres are an effort to find local solutions to the problem of environmental pollution caused by the dumping of garbage in the outskirts of Bangalore city.

Presently, the program covers 1500 households in these areas, and will expand in the coming months.
